🚀 ExpressiveLab M3 v1.1.0 Release Notes

Welcome to the v1.1.0 major feature update for JustForPixel ExpressiveLab M3! This release expands the open-source Material 3 Expressive component suite for Jetpack Compose with brand-new interactive components, Glassmorphism, Expandable FABs, Pull-to-Refresh indicators, Live Notifications, and Pure OLED Pitch Black (#000000) theme support.

🧩 New Expressive UI Components & Playgrounds:

  • 🪞 Glassmorphism Frosted Cards (ExpressiveGlassmorphismCard):
    • Real-time frosted glass blur elevation with tactile press physics and border glow.
  • 📱 Centered Floating Bottom Navigation Bar (ExpressiveFloatingBottomBar):
    • Material 3 Expressive floating pill navigation bar with active tab label expansion and zero shadow artifacts.
  • ✨ Expressive Expandable FAB (ExpressiveExpandableFab):
    • Morphing FAB expansion with bouncy spring physics and smooth icon-to-label transitions.

🎨 UI/UX, Theme & Performance Enhancements

  • 🖤 Pure OLED Pitch Black Mode (#000000):
    • Added an option in App Settings to override dark surfaces with pure #000000 pitch black for maximum AMOLED power savings.
  • 📱 Adaptive Edge-to-Edge System Bar Integration:
    • Fully configured with enableEdgeToEdge() and transparent system bars across all screens.
  • ⚡ Performance & Smoothness (60/120 FPS):
    • Reduced layout re-measurement overhead, optimized transition crossfades to 180ms, and eliminated switch lag.
  • 🛡️ Android Back Gesture Handling:
    • Registered BackHandler across all detail playground screens to smoothly navigate back to the catalog home without killing the app.
