Connection management has been overhauled with explicit connection handling, replacing the previous session-based approach, giving you more predictable and transparent control over database connections. Atlas search gets two notable upgrades: support for the $rerank stage in aggregation pipelines and a new on-demand tool for retrieving search stage rules, making it easier to build and tune advanced search queries. You can now create, pause, resume, and upgrade Atlas clusters, load sample data into a cluster, and manage Atlas Stream Processing — all directly through your AI assistant.
