Small Cloud v0.7.1

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 13 Sep 03:20

0.7.1 — 2026-09-13

  • Add #43 explicit small-cloud update with checked atomic executable replacement, human/JSON version outcomes, failure recovery and offline discovery; extend native artifact acceptance for all four supported targets.

  • Publish and accept #43 as v0.7.1 on all four native targets through both credential modes and public HTTPS installation/update/no-update checks; correct macOS access-time sensitivity in the preservation test and preserve retained workstation credentials, shell files and service readiness.

Public v0.6.0 and earlier lack the update command. Rerun the public installer once to bootstrap v0.7.1; subsequent updates use small-cloud update.

Native acceptance and public installation/update acceptance passed on Linux x86-64/ARM64 and macOS Intel/Apple Silicon. See the acceptance report for evidence and preserved-state checks.

Small Cloud v0.6.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 11 Sep 13:56
  • Diagnose failed and uncertain deployments with failed phases, bounded redacted log excerpts, exact inspection commands and structured JSON recovery guidance.
  • Add app logs --tail so terminal build errors remain visible after long progress logs.
  • Preserve original request and operation identity; unavailable diagnostics and service-side uncertainty never trigger a duplicate deployment or hide failure.

Verified on Linux and macOS, ARM64 and x86-64, with file and native credential storage. Hosted build/startup failures, redaction, data preservation and operator reconciliation passed. The backend and public downloads are deployed at v0.6.0.

Small Cloud v0.5.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 11 Sep 12:32

App deployment now waits for readiness by default and returns a clear ready URL or terminal JSON result. Use --no-wait for immediate acceptance. Timeout and Ctrl-C preserve continuing work and provide exact inspection commands; the obsolete deploy --wait flag is removed.

Redeployment preserves URLs, data and sharing. Failed updates retain the serving release; creators remain responsible for schema compatibility because container recovery does not roll back the database.

Acceptance covers executable HTTPS fixtures, local PostgreSQL journeys and five hosted deployments. Native release and public installer evidence is recorded in the deployment-completion acceptance report.

Published and verified on Linux and macOS, each on ARM64 and x86-64, with file/native credential storage and actual public installation. All eight binary/checksum URLs matched the verified artifacts. Retained credentials and hosted service health passed after publication.

0.4.0 — 2026-09-11

  • Verify and publish #33 on all four native targets and through the public installer, preserving credentials and testing human/JSON source checks without local Docker.
  • Add #33 offline app check with safe source manifests, limits, actionable errors and explicit local/remote verification boundaries, plus bundled runtime guidance without a local Docker prerequisite.
  • Add #47 coordinated server deployment, automatic worker restoration, acknowledged diagnostics readiness, bounded recovery and persistent maintenance stop/resume while preserving operation locks and accounting.
  • Verify #47 hosted deployment, in-flight restart, publication, idle wake, runtime logs and fault recovery; preserve both original apps and remove acceptance resources while retaining 10 build seconds.
  • Finalize #20 with user acceptance and remove only the empty test-one workspace and its exclusive admission, preserving the other workspaces.
  • Restore the hosted publishing, lifecycle and diagnostics workers to active service and document restarting them after identity-service upgrades.

Small Cloud v0.3.1

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 11 Sep 08:23

Workspace creation and selection are now available in the standalone CLI. New workspace owners automatically receive administrator and creator privileges, and their first associated workspace becomes the default.

  • Publish Linux and macOS binaries for ARM64 and x86-64.
  • Support Linux x86-64 workstations with glibc 2.35 or later by building and testing on Ubuntu 22.04.
  • Deploy the matching server behavior and verify retained credentials, owner roles, creation retries and saved defaults.

All four native build and credential-storage checks passed, followed by all four public-installation checks. The public installer also passed on the operator's glibc 2.36 workstation.

Install or update:

curl --fail --silent --show-error --proto '=https' https://small-cloud.monkeysees.one/cli/install.sh | sh

This supersedes v0.3.0, whose Linux x86-64 binary required a newer glibc. Existing published versioned files were preserved.
