ReBot Motion Lab 1.5.0
ReBot Motion Lab 1.5.0
The first unified release of the ReBot B601-DM simulator: a native macOS app, its bundled MCP server, and the complete browser simulator source in one repository.
Download and install
- Download ReBot-Motion-Lab-1.5-macOS.zip below.
- Unzip it and move ReBot Motion Lab.app to Applications.
- Open the app and choose Ready to unfold the robot.
Requires macOS 14 or later and Metal-capable graphics. The app and MCP helper are universal binaries for Intel and Apple silicon. No additional runtime is needed.
The app is ad-hoc signed, but is not yet Developer ID signed or Apple notarized. macOS may require explicit approval to open it. A SHA-256 checksum file is attached for download verification.
Highlights
- Immediate joint and gripper controls, with no smoothing delay behind the slider.
- Solid-floor stops for every moving link and both gripper fingertips, including motion between poses.
- Folded startup, animated presets, inverse kinematics, and reusable waypoint sequences.
- Working text-size shortcuts and an offline reference for 53 actuator registers.
- A native MCP server with 12 tools and two resources.
- MCP configuration previews hide private install directories. Copy MCP configuration still supplies the full path needed by the client.
If you move the app, copy a fresh MCP configuration from its MCP control tab.
Source and verification
The macOS package, web/ simulator, and native MCP sources are included in the source archives below. The app is a kinematic simulator; it does not connect to physical robot hardware.
Validated with 27 Swift tests, packaged native smoke checks, and MCP integration checks. All release-commit CI checks passed, covering both Mac architectures and the web build on Linux.
Application code: MIT. Bundled robot geometry: CERN-OHL-W-2.0, with upstream metadata notices preserved. See third-party notices.
