Reflex 0.1.7
Window switching keeps your focus. Reflex's hidden rail panel could pull keyboard focus away from a terminal you had just switched to. The terminal went gray, and your keys could go to the rail. Now the panel takes focus only when you're on the rail.
Reflex's floating panels are also out of ⌘ and the Window menu, so ⌘ cycles only through terminals and Settings.
0.1.x updates to this on its own.
Reflex 0.1.6
Reflex starts herdr for you. After a restart, herdr's server was down until you opened herdr yourself, so every request failed with "Connection refused". Now Reflex starts herdr's server in the background when it isn't running, for your configured session, the same way herdr itself does. Turn this off in Settings → Setup.
0.1.x updates to this on its own.
Reflex 0.1.5
Requests run, every time. An agent that had just started could read your request and its Enter as one paste. Your request then sat in its input, typed but not sent. Reflex now checks after each prompt: if the agent is still idle a moment later with your request on its screen, Reflex presses Enter for it.
0.1.x updates to this on its own.
Reflex 0.1.4
Remove what's in the bar. Slash commands (/claude, /new, /btw, /resume) and pasted images can be taken off. Press ⌫ in an empty field to remove the last one, or hover a badge and click its ×. Holding ⌫ to clear text stops at the empty field, so you don't lose badges by accident.
Terminals open in front the first time. Opening a session from the bar (⌥⌥ ⏎) now brings its terminal to the front on the first try, even while another app is active.
Big folders are candidates too. A folder holding many repos, such as an open-source folder with 200, is now offered as a collection when you name it ("have a look at my open source folder…"). It doesn't appear just for being recently active.
0.1.x updates to this on its own.
Reflex 0.1.3
Choose folder… starts the session. Choosing a folder in the bar and clicking Start Here starts your request there at once. The request is no longer lost while the folder chooser is open. With nothing typed, it starts a fresh agent in that folder and opens its terminal. Cancelling brings the bar back with your text.
0.1.x updates to this on its own.
Reflex 0.1.2
Parent folders. Reflex now finds the folder that holds your repos, like ~/VCS/work/acme, or a client folder with an api, a web app and jobs inside. A request that spans them ("update the pricing copy in the api and the web app") starts in the parent. A request about one repo still goes to that repo. In the bar, a parent is described by what it holds.
The folder index also skips hidden folders and archive/archived folders.
Terminal windows no longer open blank. A terminal left attached by a Reflex that was killed or crashed used to block the next one. Reflex now takes the terminal over, and it fully lets go of terminals when a window closes or Reflex quits, including when it quits to update.
0.1.x updates to this on its own.
Reflex 0.1.1
Open in. A terminal window's header now has a split button: click it to open the session's folder wherever you last chose, or use the arrow for every option. The options are herdr, Finder, Ghostty, Terminal, iTerm, Warp, Cursor, Visual Studio Code, Zed, Windsurf and Sublime Text, whichever are installed. The rail's agent rows do the same: hold the button, or right-click the row.
Reflex 0.1.0 updates to this on its own. New here? Download Reflex-0.1.1.dmg, open it, and drag Reflex to Applications.
Reflex 0.1.0
Say what. Reflex finds where.
The first release of Reflex: one reflex to every coding agent you run in herdr.
-
⌥⌥ to ask. Say what you want, and Reflex finds where:
- the repo nested deep in your tree;
- the parent, when the work spans repos;
- the conversation you already had;
- a new folder, only when you ask.
When Jev isn't sure, it shows its guess and asks, then remembers what you chose. Your words are delivered verbatim, images included.
-
The edge of your screen. A tab shows each working agent. Hover it for the rail, where questions become cards you answer with 1, 2, 3.
-
The inbox. Questions first, then what each session said last. Opening a session clears its notifications.
-
Nothing is lost. Earlier Claude, pi and Codex sessions come back with a keystroke. Background sessions and shells count as work until they're really done.
-
Take it with you. Scan a one-time QR code. Your phone gets your agents, their questions and a live terminal, over Tailscale.
-
Awake while they work. Your Mac doesn't idle-sleep mid-task, and lets go on battery before it runs low.
Install
- Download
Reflex-0.1.0.dmg, open it, and drag Reflex to Applications. It's signed and notarized. - The first launch walks you through:
- herdr and its integrations (
herdr integration install claude,herdr integration install pi); - connecting Jev;
- the folders to index;
- ⌥⌥ and the edge.
- herdr and its integrations (
Requires macOS 26 on Apple Silicon. Routing needs jev-fabric and a Jev key. Without them, everything else works and you pick where requests go.
