MacParakeet 0.8.2
MacParakeet 0.8.2
MacParakeet 0.8.2 keeps a meeting recording going when one capture source is slow to start. It also lets you skip auto-record for a calendar meeting and turn off live transcription while you record.
New
- Skip auto-record for a calendar meeting. Skip this occurrence, or a repeating series, without turning auto-start off globally. Manual Record, hotkey, and the menu bar still work. #1039
- Live transcription during recording. Turn this setting off to skip the live transcript while you record and reduce processing. Default stays on. The full transcript is still created after you stop. #1041
- CLI 4.2.0.
calendar upcoming --jsonaddsskippedandskipScope(occurrence|event|null). #1039
Fixed
- A stuck or slow microphone no longer blocks system-audio capture from starting. Meetings can record system audio while the microphone is still coming up. If you quit during that startup, MacParakeet offers End & Transcribe or Discard. #1045
- Isolated one-word speaker flips and unlabeled gaps now inherit a speaker only when the speakers on both sides agree. That removes extra tiny transcript bubbles without changing the detected speaker roster. #1049
Thanks
Thanks to @gtfierro for live transcription during recording. #1041
Thanks to @k1n0b0n for experimental meeting voice profiles, which stay behind a disabled flag in this release. #1044
