• Established the public @moretea-labs/forge npm release path with explicit RC/stable channels, exact-tag validation, bootstrap-safe publishing, official-registry pinning, and provenance-aware release handling.
• Added official Forge plugin distribution and pinned Desktop Operator 0.2.1 for the reviewed desktop/browser provider surface.
• Hardened native browser automation: more reliable sessions/selectors and background tab metadata, with native sessions kept silent unless an explicit human handoff is required.
• Strengthened MCP/runtime resilience with bounded tool-surface fingerprinting, session preservation across surface resets, runtime/recovery fencing, restart budgets bound to release identity, and lower hot-path overhead.
• Improved public release hygiene and documentation, including multilingual entry points, platform guidance, package identity checks, open-source audits, and Windows smoke coverage.

Verification

The published @moretea-labs/forge@1.5.0-rc.1 package and next dist-tag were verified against the release tag. The release gates also validated package identity, public export, open-source surface, tarball installation, and packaged CLI startup.
