Bugfixes

  • in the (unlikely) case that a user runs out of memory for TDigest allocation (e.g. during a huge merge operation), this is now caught via try_reserveand routed to a Python MemoryError instead of potentially crashing the interpreter
  • re-enabled builds for older Python versions under Windows x86, which were quietly dropped due to the windows-latest GitHub Actions runner image being rolled over to windows-2025
