What's in 0.55.0

Set up two-factor authentication, and a redesigned Security tab.

  • Guided 2FA setup. Site users can now actually enroll in two-factor: on their first login after an operator requires it (or proactively from their WordPress profile), they get a step-by-step flow to scan a QR code with an authenticator app, confirm a code to activate it, and save one-time backup codes. Before, the policy could require 2FA but users had no way to set it up.
  • Redesigned Security tab. A card-based layout with a status overview and grouped, collapsible cards (Login and Two-Factor, Password policy, Hardening, File integrity, Bans and login protection, Hide login), each with a plain-language description and a color-coded status. Replaces the old flat list and removes the empty space.
  • Consistent success and error toasts across all security actions.
