Objective
The objective of these handover and release checklists is to ensure that contributions, features, stories, and sprint deliverables are complete, reviewed, and ready to progress through the development and release lifecycle. They provide a standardized way for contributors, mentors, and stakeholders to validate development, testing, documentation, quality, and release readiness at the appropriate stage. The Feature/Story Handover Checklist focuses on the completeness and quality of individual features or stories, the Sprint Handover Checklist ensures all sprint deliverables are ready for closure and review, and the Go/No-Go Release Checklist validates that all required criteria are met before a release is approved. Together, these checklists promote consistency, accountability, and quality across the contribution and delivery process.
