Jeved 0.4.1
Lists tab
- Lists have their own tab. The Sensors tab holds sensors only.
/jeved listsopens the tab. - One entries block in three places: the Lists tab, the sensor form under "Repeat over list", and the rule form of a rule whose sensor repeats over a list.
- Each entry shows where it comes from: every chat, this chat, or added by a rule.
- The add box has a switch, "Add to: This chat | Every chat". Every chat saves the entry in the preset.
- A list has a description. It shows above the entries and gives the add box its example.
- A saved list keeps its name.
Director
- The list is
house_rules. Add your rules in the House rule form or in the Lists tab.
Upgrade
- No schema change. Presets from 0.4.0 load as is.
- A stored Director preset does not update. Use "Restore built-in" to get
house_rules.
Jeved 0.4.0
Lists
- A list is a named set of text lines. Each chat keeps its own entries. The preset declares the list and its starting entries.
- Manage lists at the top of the Sensors tab.
- A sensor can repeat over a list. Put
{{entry}}in the question. Jev answers one time for each entry, in the same API call. An empty list makes no call. - A rule on a repeating sensor checks each entry and fires one time. Use
{{entries}},{{entries_json}}or{{entry}}in the instruction, the script or the list value. - New rule actions: Add to list, Remove from list.
- A change made by a rule is undone when you swipe, edit or delete the message that caused it.
- A change made by you stays until you undo it.
- Commands:
/jeved-list,/jeved-list-add,/jeved-list-remove,/jeved-get <sensor id> entry=<text>. - Macros:
{{jeved-list::name}},{{jeved::sensor_id::entry}}.
Context for each sensor
- Each sensor has its own Context setting: None, Everything or Custom.
- Custom shows your prompt manager list. Tick the prompts that the sensor sends to Jev. Prompts from your preset are in the list.
- A prompt that is off shows "(off)". An empty prompt shows "empty". You can tick them. They are sent when they are on and have text.
- New pieces: World info (before), World info (after), Chat examples.
- World info comes from the last generation. A sensor that runs before the reply gets the entries of the turn before.
- Preview shows the text that the sensor sends.
- The Context checkboxes in Settings are removed. The token cap stays.
Director preset
- House rule uses the list
rules. Add your rules as entries. Example: "Do not end the reply with a question to {{user}}." - A reply that breaks a rule is rerolled. The instruction names the broken rules.
- House rule is on. It makes no call while the list is empty.
Changed
- Everything sends only the rows that are on in your prompt manager.
- Sensors share one API call when their input settings and their Context are the same.
- The rule form shows the latest answer for each entry of a repeating sensor.
- In a group chat, a Run script rule can end its cooldown one reply sooner if its reply was edited or swiped away.
Upgrade
- Presets go to schema version 5 on load. Your Context settings are kept.
- Everything sends world info and chat examples. Use Custom to leave them out.
- Your stored Director preset does not update. Use "Restore built-in". Duplicate your copy first if you changed it.
- Jeved 0.3 is read-only with version 5 settings. Export your presets first if you plan to go back.
- Preset files from 0.2 and 0.3 import as is.
- Needs SillyTavern 1.18.0 or newer.
Jeved 0.3.0
New
- Sensors can run before the reply. Set "Assistant messages" to 0. The sensor reads your message, and a rule on it adds its instruction to that same reply.
- New rule action: Run script. It runs the rule's STscript right after the reply is measured. It adds no instruction and does not swipe.
- Macro
{{jeved::sensor_id}}: the newest answer of a sensor. Score:2.4. Choice: the option name. Noul: whole percent,85. Not measured: empty. /jeved-get <sensor id>: returns the same value. No API call./jeved-ask <question>: one API call, returns the answer, stores nothing. Arguments:type, options, levels, user, assistant, context. Works while the chat is paused.
New Director preset
- On from the start: Puppet (rerolls a reply that writes your character), Attention (the reply did not respond to what you said), Echo (repeated wording), Drift (tone against the card), Gentle (things never go against you), and four Scene rules that read your message before the reply (combat, conversation, travel, intimate).
- Included and off: Flat, Lore, House rule (one statement that you edit; a reply that breaks it is rerolled), Picture (needs an image backend), Mood (sets the character sprite with
/expression-set {{jeved::mood}}, needs sprites). - Closeness sensor: measures how close the two characters are. It has no rule. Tick "Measure anyway" to see it on the Activity chart.
- Cost with the default rules: three API calls for each reply and one for each of your messages.
- Thresholds were set with test calls to Jev. Echo now fires above 3, Puppet above 2.85 with new scale wording.
Changed
- Sensor input is three controls: "User messages" (0 to 50), "Assistant messages" (0 to 50), "Context" (on or off). They replace History, Include my messages and Include context.
- Names for a question are fixed:
latest_turn,player_message,history,context.latest_turnsis removed. - The sensor list and the rule form show "Before the reply" or "After the reply".
- Sensor list: each cell shows the name, the latest answer and the input. A sensor that is not measured is greyed out. "Measure anyway" is now in the sensor form only.
- Rule list: each cell shows the name, the action and the latest answers of its sensors. A rule that is off is greyed out. A rule that fires on the next turn is highlighted and says "Firing". Hover a cell for the full status.
- Test results and "Show replies": each result is two rows. Click the excerpt to read the full reply.
- An edited message is measured again after 2 seconds. This fires no rule.
- The Activity chart shows the answers about your message in the column of the reply that followed. Columns now start next to the labels.
- Built-in Tone and World sensors read one reply and the card. Repeats compares the reply with
history. - The built-in Picture rule uses the Run script action. It fires when a striking image is in the scene that is happening now.
- UI text says "answers", not "scores".
Removed
- Interval (measure every N replies). Each sensor is measured on each message it reads.
- Nudge spacing and max nudges per turn. The cooldown of each rule is the only limit.
Cost
- Sensors with the same three input settings share one API call.
- A sensor that runs before the reply adds one API call for each of your messages. Jeved waits at most 3 seconds for it. If the answer is late, the reply is generated without the instruction.
Upgrade
- Presets go to schema version 4 on load. No action is necessary.
- The old nudge spacing value is copied into the cooldown of each rule that has an instruction, when it is larger than the rule's cooldown.
latest_turnsin a question becomes "historyandlatest_turn". Jeved lists the sensors it changed. Check their wording.- A stored Director preset does not update. "Restore built-in" loads the new one. Duplicate your copy first if you changed it.
- A preset file exported from 0.2 imports as is.
- Needs SillyTavern 1.18.0 or newer.
Jeved 0.2.0
- Two new sensor types beside Score: Choice (Jev picks one of your options) and Noul (the chance that a statement is true). A Score scale can have 2 to 10 steps.
- Rule conditions can say "is" and "is not" for a Choice sensor, and can require a minimum confidence.
- A host picker for OpenRouter, NanoGPT and TypeSafe. Hosts that send no cost show tokens.
- The sensor test shows the answer, the confidence and the probabilities.
- A plain "Latest reply" row replaces the gauge in the rule preview.
- Rule scripts are ordinary STscript with no command list. Imported rules that have a script still arrive turned off.
- Shorter README and CONTRIBUTING.
- Your presets upgrade on load. To get the new built-in preset, press "Restore built-in" (duplicate yours first).
