Adawat 1.1.0 · أدوات

Adawat is now on Windows, Linux and Android. The same wheel, the same tools, in Arabic and English, for Windows 10 and 11, for Linux on x64 and ARM64, and for Android 10 and later.

Android (added October 21)

  • Adawat-Android.apk for phones and tablets on Android 10 or later. Share any file to Adawat, or open it with Adawat, and the wheel appears: tap a choice, or slide onto it and lift.
  • Convert, Tools and Actions, with the tool windows: compress, edit, annotate, crop, redact, collage, organize and merge PDFs, trim, video crop, speed, split, frames, video redaction, join, normalize, visualizer and bleep. Text recognition reads Arabic and English offline.
  • PDF also becomes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and EPUB; archives open (RAR, 7-Zip, ZIP, TAR, ISO and more) and files pack into ZIP, TAR or TGZ. Results go to an Adawat folder in Pictures, Movies, Music or Download.
  • Published here on GitHub only, not on Google Play. If Android asks, allow installing from this source; if Play Protect warns, tap More details, then Install anyway.

Linux (added October 20)

  • .deb for Ubuntu, Debian, Mint and Pop!_OS, .rpm for Fedora and openSUSE, and an AppImage for any distribution, each for x64 and ARM64.
  • Every tool and tool window, as on Windows. Text recognition reads Arabic and English with Tesseract; PDFs are made with WeasyPrint; the .deb and .rpm install them for you.
  • GNOME on Wayland (Ubuntu, Fedora): sign out and back in once after installing, so GNOME loads the small Adawat extension that lets the wheel open during a drag. On X11 it works right away.
  • KDE and other desktops: right-click files and choose Open with Adawat to open the wheel.

New

  • Windows app for x64 and ARM PCs: drag any file in File Explorer, press Shift, Ctrl or Alt, and drop it on a choice.
  • Every tool window from the Mac app: compress, edit, annotate, crop, redact, collage, organize and merge PDFs, trim, video crop, speed, split, frames, video redaction, join, normalize, visualizer, channels, bleep, and the QR code designer.
  • On Windows, PDF also converts to Excel.
  • A per-user installer in Arabic or English: no administrator password, a Start menu entry, optional start with Windows, and a clean uninstall from Settings → Apps.

Fixed

  • Audio Visualizer: the waveform now keeps the colour you choose on long audio (it could turn brown before). This affects the Mac app too.

Not sure which Windows file? Open Settings → System → About and look at System type.

Windows: if the browser says the file isn't commonly downloaded, open the downloads list (Ctrl+J), press … next to the file and choose Keep (in Edge: Show more, then Keep anyway). Then, if you see Windows protected your PC, press More info, then Run anyway. The installer is not code-signed yet.
Linux: sudo apt install ./Adawat-linux-amd64.deb or sudo dnf install ./Adawat-linux-x86_64.rpm, or make the AppImage executable and open it.
Mac: open Adawat, press Done, then System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. Full steps are in the README.

أدوات 1.1.0

أدوات بقى على الويندوز واللينكس والأندرويد. نفس العجلة ونفس الأدوات، بالعربي والإنجليزي، على Windows 10 و 11، وعلى اللينكس لأجهزة x64 و ARM64، وعلى Android 10 أو أحدث.

الأندرويد (اتضاف في 21 أكتوبر)

  • ملف Adawat-Android.apk للموبايل والتابلت على Android 10 أو أحدث. شارك أي ملف لأدوات، أو افتحه بأدوات، فتظهر العجلة: المس الاختيار، أو اسحب صباعك عليه وارفعه.
  • التحويل والأدوات والإجراءات، ومعاها نوافذ الأدوات: الضغط والتعديل والتعليق والقص والإخفاء والصورة المجمّعة وترتيب ودمج الـ PDF وقص المدة وقص صورة الفيديو والسرعة والتقسيم واللقطات وإخفاء أجزاء من الفيديو والدمج وتوحيد الصوت والـ Visualizer والتصفير. وقراءة النص بالعربي والإنجليزي من غير إنترنت.
  • الـ PDF بيتحوّل كمان لـ Word و Excel و PowerPoint و EPUB، والملفات المضغوطة بتتفتح (RAR و 7-Zip و ZIP و TAR و ISO وغيرهم)، وتقدر تضغط ملفاتك ZIP أو TAR أو TGZ. والنتايج بتتحفظ في فولدر Adawat جوه الصور أو الأفلام أو الموسيقى أو التنزيلات.
  • منشور هنا على GitHub بس، مش على Google Play. لو الأندرويد سألك، اسمح بالتثبيت من المصدر ده؛ ولو Play Protect نبّهك، دوس مزيد من التفاصيل وبعدين التثبيت على أي حال.

اللينكس (اتضاف في 20 أكتوبر)

الجديد

  • تطبيق للويندوز لأجهزة x64 و ARM: اسحب أي ملف من مستكشف الملفات، واضغط Shift أو Ctrl أو Alt، وأفلته على الاختيار.
  • كل نوافذ الأدوات اللي في نسخة الماك: الضغط والتعديل والتعليق والقص والإخفاء والصورة المجمّعة وترتيب ودمج الـ PDF وقص المدة وقص صورة الفيديو والسرعة والتقسيم واللقطات وإخفاء أجزاء من الفيديو والدمج وتوحيد الصوت والـ Visualizer والقنوات والتصفير ومصمم رموز QR.
  • على الويندوز، الـ PDF بيتحوّل كمان لـ Excel.
  • ملف تثبيت بالعربي أو الإنجليزي: من غير باسورد المسؤول، وبأيقونة في قائمة ابدأ، وتقدر تخليه يشتغل مع الويندوز، وبيتشال بسهولة من الإعدادات ← التطبيقات.

التصليحات

  • الـ Visualizer: الموجة بقت تحافظ على اللون اللي اخترته في الملفات الطويلة (كانت ممكن تطلع بني). التصليح ده في نسخة الماك كمان.

مش عارف تختار أنهي ملف للويندوز؟ افتح الإعدادات ← النظام ← حول وبص على نوع النظام (System type).

الويندوز: لو المتصفح قالك إن الملف isn't commonly downloaded، افتح التنزيلات بـ Ctrl+J، واضغط … جنب الملف واختار Keep (في Edge: Show more وبعدين Keep anyway). وبعدها لو ظهرت رسالة Windows protected your PC، اضغط More info وبعدين Run anyway، لأن ملف التثبيت لسه مش موقّع رقميًا.
اللينكس: sudo apt install ./Adawat-linux-amd64.deb أو sudo dnf install ./Adawat-linux-x86_64.rpm، أو خلي الـ AppImage قابل للتشغيل وافتحه.
الماك: افتح أدوات واضغط Done، وبعدين إعدادات النظام ← الخصوصية والأمان ← Open Anyway. الخطوات كاملة في الـ README بالعربي.

Adawat 1.0.0

The first release. Drag any file, press a key, and drop it on a choice in the wheel.

  • Convert images, video, audio, PDF, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, subtitles and archives.
  • Tools for every kind of file: compress, edit, annotate, crop, trim, redact, organize PDF pages, normalize audio, and more.
  • Create QR codes with custom shapes, colors, gradients and a logo in the middle.
  • Float: a small shelf that keeps files at hand.
  • Full Arabic (right to left) and English interface.
  • Works offline. Nothing leaves your Mac.

Install

  1. Download Adawat.dmg below, open it, and drag Adawat into Applications.
  2. Open Adawat. macOS shows "Adawat" Not Opened: press Done.
  3. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, and press Open Anyway.
  4. Press Open Anyway again and enter your Mac password. macOS will not ask again.

Or in Terminal: xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Adawat.app

This build is not notarized by Apple yet, so macOS asks once.
Requires macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon.

أول إصدار. اسحب أي ملف، واضغط مفتاح، وأفلته على الاختيار اللي عاوزه في العجلة.

  • تحويل الصور والفيديو والصوت و PDF والمستندات والجداول والعروض والترجمة والملفات المضغوطة.
  • أدوات لكل نوع ملف: ضغط وتعديل وتعليق وقص وإخفاء وترتيب صفحات PDF وتوحيد الصوت وغيرهم.
  • إنشاء رموز QR بأشكال وألوان وتدرجات وشعار في المنتصف.
  • الـ Float: رف صغير بيخلي ملفاتك قريبة منك.
  • واجهة كاملة بالعربي (من اليمين للشمال) وبالإنجليزي.
  • بيشتغل من غير إنترنت، ومفيش حاجة بتخرج من جهازك.

التثبيت

  1. حمّل Adawat.dmg من تحت، وافتحه، واسحب أدوات لمجلد Applications.
  2. افتح أدوات. هتظهر رسالة "Adawat" Not Opened: اضغط Done.
  3. روح إعدادات النظام ← الخصوصية والأمان، وانزل لجزء Security، واضغط Open Anyway.
  4. اضغط Open Anyway تاني واكتب باسورد الماك. ومش هيسألك تاني.

أو من Terminal: xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Adawat.app

النسخة دي لسه مش موثّقة من أبل، فالماك بيسأل مرة واحدة بس.
محتاج macOS 14 أو أحدث على أجهزة Apple silicon.
