Release list
v0.2.1
Community marketplace, a real project-name model, new content categories, and a locked-down local server.
Marketplace
- Browse and install community projects straight from the editor; installs write into
projects/like any locally saved project - Submitting opens a PR that writes the files and updates
projects/manifest.jsonin one shot, so merging the PR is the publish step - no cleanup afterwards - The list is fetched fresh on every open; localStorage is only an offline fallback and shows a stale-data notice instead of silently serving old entries
Local server security
- CORS is now restricted to the same origin. Previously the API answered any origin, so an unrelated web page could POST to
/api/deployand have an arbitrary DLL copied into the game's plugins folder /api/deployonly accepts DLLs that live under the CuBlocky server directory
Compiler / blocks
- Blockly variables are hoisted to class-level fields, so a variable set in one handler can be read in another (was CS0103 / CS0219)
- Variable blocks emit valid C#: template literals, sanitized names, declared locals
run commandcallsConsoleScript.instancecorrectly
Editor
- Project import (
.cbp), first-run language selection, spotlight toolbar tour,Launch.cmdlauncher - Project name drives the DLL name, namespace and build dir; Chinese and other non-ASCII names now work
- Asset manager multi-select with batch delete and sprite-sheet merge
- Sprite sheet animation blocks; position refactored to list getters
- Creature category: register / spawn / move / destroy blocks with a
CuCreatureManagerruntime - UI editor expanded to 9 control types with alignment and value/toggle getter blocks
- All 17 build warnings cleared
T-3bd620d
Pre-release built from commit 3bd620d.
This is a pre-release version for testing purposes; it may be somewhat unstable and has not been fully tested.
Added
- Import projects - .cbp files can now be imported from the "Open Project" dialog. Invalid or duplicate names are coerced rather than rejected (for example
a<b>c:dbecomesa_b_c_d), and duplicates receive a_2/_3suffix instead of overwriting an existing project. - First-run language selection - first-time visitors are asked to choose a language before they start. The dialog cannot be dismissed without a selection, and a hint afterwards points to the Language button.
- Spotlight toolbar tour - on first entry into the editor, a guided tour highlights each toolbar control in place with a step-by-step tooltip. It can be replayed at any time with the
?button in the toolbar orF1, and skipped with the Skip button orEsc. - CMD launcher -
Launch.ps1is replaced byLaunch.cmd. The server now runs in the foreground of the launcher window, so closing the window or pressing Ctrl+C terminates it along with all of its child processes; no orphaned processes remain. The port can be overridden withCUBLOCKY_URL=http://localhost:6000 Launch.cmd.
Fixed
- Import requests with an empty body, a missing
modfield, or a blank name are now rejected with a 400 response instead of silently creating a project named "My Mod" from the model default. - Duplicate browser tabs on startup:
launchBrowseris now disabled inlaunchSettings.jsonand the browser-opener lines were removed from the launcher. The server opens exactly one tab, once it is actually listening. - Guide and onboarding copy was rewritten to use more consistent, neutral wording across all three languages.

T-9bfe391
