TIDAL RPC v0.2.0

This release brings TIDAL RPC to Android alongside the Windows app, with a refreshed interface and icon.

Improvements

  • New Android companion displays TIDAL playback as Discord Rich Presence on the same phone.
  • Refreshed Windows interface and application icon.

Features

  • Shows the current TIDAL track, artist, artwork, and playback time on Discord.
  • Clears the activity when playback pauses or stops.
  • Windows supports tray mode, automatic Discord reconnection, optional buttons, and artist images.

Installation

Windows 10 or 11

  1. Download TIDAL RPC.exe and run it.
  2. Complete the TIDAL sign-in on first launch.
  3. Open Discord and play a track in the TIDAL desktop app.

No Python installation is required.

Android 13 or newer

  1. Install TIDAL RPC Android.apk alongside the official TIDAL and Discord apps.
  2. Sign in to Discord and grant TIDAL RPC Notification access.
  3. Play a track in TIDAL.

The Android APK is a locally signed debug build for sideloading, not a Google Play release. On some Android 13+ devices, enable App info → More → Allow restricted settings before granting Notification access.
