Software & System Architect — 13+ years building distributed systems that handle real-world scale.
I design and build enterprise-grade microservices platforms from zero to production. Most recently served as sole architect for a 12+ microservices SaaS (Java + Go hybrid, 648 APIs) deployed across African markets. Previously spent 6 years on Huawei's financial platform under rigorous engineering standards.
Open to European remote Software / System Architect roles.
Architecture: Microservices · Event-Driven · Distributed Transactions (Saga) · Multi-Tenancy · CQRS · Domain-Driven Design · Offline-First Sync
Enterprise-grade Purchase · Sales · Inventory · POS · Finance SaaS platform, deployed across African markets.
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| API endpoints | 648 |
| Microservices | 12+ |
| Maven modules | 24 |
| DB entities | 120+ |
| Languages | Java 21 + Go 1.21 |
| Production data loss | Zero |
Key architecture decisions:
- Four-layer inventory defense — Redis Lua pre-deduct → DB CAS optimistic lock → Go mutex → automatic compensation. Zero data loss under high concurrency.
- Multi-tenant SaaS isolation — Five-layer tenant context propagation (HTTP / Feign / MQ-producer / MQ-consumer / async-thread) with zero business-code intrusion
- Custom distributed tracing — AspectJ LTW with intelligent hot-path detection, propagating trace context across 4 channels
- Event-driven with RabbitMQ — Transactional outbox pattern, 10 domain-specific dead letter queues, declarative ACK/NACK via custom AOP annotation
- POS offline-first sync — Bidirectional MySQL ↔ SQLite sync with idempotent upsync, supporting 3 independent cashier terminals
- African market localization — Mobile Money payments (Airtel / MTN / Zamtel), multi-currency, VAT compliance, bilingual i18n
