Phosphene 4.11.0 — One Shot

One Shot is its own way of making video. A continuous shot of 30 seconds to 2 minutes that never cuts, next to Text, Character and Image in the mode bar. Pick a length, write one line per 5 seconds (or split your prompt into lines with one click), optionally give it a start frame, and keep the two continuity guards on: Lock the light keeps the time of day and weather the same in every line; Redo a part that drifts re-renders a part once if its light moves. The panel shows the real time for your Mac before you start.

LTX one shots work now. An LTX one shot used to be built by extending the previous window, and the picture turned to fog at the first extension. It is now built the way Hailuo H3's is: parts that each start from the last frame of the part before (10-second parts on LTX, 15-second on H3), so the people, the room and the light carry through. Measured tonight: a 40-second LTX bar conversation held its two characters and its circling camera across four parts.

The Storyboard plans with it. The planner knows One Shot as a cinematic tool: a walk-and-talk, a chase or a POV ride, a monologue, a reveal or an arrival can be planned as one unbroken take inside an ordinary film, at most one or two per film, and it renders as one job.

Also: "One take" is now called One Shot everywhere; the first window of a forming shot no longer appears in the gallery as a stray clip.
