This zipped file is basically a folder containing the extension unpacked

INSTRUCTIONS

You will need to download, unzip and add to chrome via the "load without compression" button in the extensions page
If you cannot see this option you need to enable the "developer mode" on your chrome

What does this extension do?

  • Fetches the first DOI in the page and opens up a page with the paper displayed using SciHub
  • Usually works on sites that displays the DOI at the top of the page together with the article information
  • Tested on ScienceDirect and CELL

How to use?

  • Simply navigate to an article that you wish to visualize on scihub and, while on the frontpage of the article, click the extension icon on the toolbar!
  • I recommend pinning the extension since it works by clicking on the icon:
