Welcome to ThunderVIM!

Thunderbird is great, but it lacks VIM support. Thundervim fixes that. It adds VIM keybindings into Thunderbird's compose window, so you can write mail the same way you write code: Normal, Insert, and Visual modes, motions, operators, text objects, search, and all.

What you get: modes with a status bar + block cursor; the full motion set with counts; d c y operators and i/a text objects; join/indent/case/replace/.; gq reflow that preserves quote markers; search with smartcase and */#; vim's own u/Ctrl-r; and a private register for y/p.

Rich text (HTML) is supported. Edits text in place while preserving quotes, signatures, bold, and links; Cmd/Ctrl-B/I/U still work.

This is the very first public build. It's been in daily use and the plain-text path is well tested, but you're among the first to try it, so there most likely are some bugs.
