J-Jump 0.0.47
J-Jump 0.0.47 fixes missed visit counts during rapid directory changes and adds configurable decision APIs since 0.0.42.
- Rapid Bash, Zsh and Fish prompt visits queue behind a single background writer and finish without another prompt. Temporary SQLite contention is retried; a slow commit no longer causes an accepted visit to be dropped.
- Clearing, forgetting, pruning or restoring history invalidates older queued visits. Each write rechecks tracking and exclusions. The current observation protocol has its own namespace so an older running supervisor cannot consume new events.
- Import a bounded JSON API definition with
jjump config import-provider. Built-in providers share the same wire interpreter. Templates cover OpenRouter, Vercel and local Ollama Tev1; inspect requests offline withjjump preview. - Importing a changed definition resets consent to
askand the custom credential source to environment. Credentials are isolated by definition ID;credential delete --definition ID --applyremoves an explicitly named entry.
The queue holds up to 128 outstanding visits per profile. Permanent store errors, queue saturation and process failure remain limits. Configuration, database and backup schemas are unchanged; no old implementation or automatic fallback was added. Local navigation stays offline and semantic suggestions require explicit selection.

Intel macOS unchanged isolated repeat: https://github.com/mreasonyang/j-jump/actions/runs/38123521256
The first Intel source run failed a lock-wait liveness assertion after a parent sleep. Its specific child error was not captured. That failure is retained; the complete unchanged repeat passed.
Downloads support macOS 15+ and Linux on ARM64 and x86-64. Archives are unsigned; verify their SHA-256 sidecars. The release manifest records source and binary identities.
Install or update:
brew upgrade mreasonyang/taps/j-jump
# Or install a new Homebrew copy:
brew install mreasonyang/taps/j-jump && jjump shell install
# Or use the public installer:
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mreasonyang/j-jump/main/install.sh | sh -s -- --replaceProvider protocol tests use synthetic responses. Live gateway account access, API latency and semantic quality were not measured.
Public Homebrew installation, reinstall, upgrade, shell integration and removal pass natively on all four targets: https://github.com/mreasonyang/j-jump/actions/runs/38126423864 and the unchanged Linux x86-64 repeat https://github.com/mreasonyang/j-jump/actions/runs/38126550217. The first Linux Homebrew install reported Broken pipe; the original failure is retained.
J-Jump 0.0.42
J-Jump 0.0.42 adds OpenAI Decisions as an optional semantic provider.
- Choose
openaiinjjump setup, or select it withjjump config set provider openaiand provideOPENAI_API_KEY. Semantic requests remain off until enabled. - Uses the official Decisions API with
gpt-6-luna. OpenAI credentials have their own OS credential entry, and switching providers retains the configured source. - Decisions remain bound to the offered directories. Refusals, ambiguity and weak evidence do not select a directory; every suggestion requires explicit user selection.

J-Jump 0.0.41
J-Jump 0.0.41 adds optional local Tev1 4B suggestions alongside Jev and Cloudflare Clef-Flash.
- Complete setup guidance for Ollama and GGUF weights, editable service address and model tag, explicit installed-model discovery, connection checks, retry and configure-later paths.
- English and Chinese setup and recovery guidance, with provider switching and saved-model preservation.
- First-use navigation acceptance covers the intended directory at different displayed positions in all three shells.
- Local requests use loopback without an API key. Suggestions require explicit selection; local navigation remains available offline.
J-Jump does not install Ollama or download model weights. To prepare local Tev1, install and start Ollama 0.35 or later, run ollama pull tev1:4b-q8_0, then run jjump setup. Use list to choose an installed model and check to test it. System One requires GGUF; MLX/Safetensors are unsupported.
Separate native macOS ARM64 real-model validation on 0.0.40 covers bilingual setup in Bash/Zsh/Fish, model edits, representative selection/cancellation and upgrades from 0.0.38/0.0.39. These functional examples do not establish general semantic accuracy. Hosted provider tests use synthetic services and do not install or run Tev1.

Archives are unsigned; verify SHA256 before installation. macOS requires version 15 or later. The archive installer configures Bash, Zsh or Fish automatically; use --no-shell to opt out. After Homebrew installation, run jjump shell install and open a new terminal.
brew install mreasonyang/taps/j-jump && jjump shell install
brew upgrade mreasonyang/taps/j-jumpNative source and exact installed-package checks pass for all four targets at this immutable tag: macOS ARM64/x86-64 and Linux ARM64 in the original build, and Linux x86-64 in the same-source isolated repeat. The first Linux x86-64 installed suite missed one Fish rapid-prompt visit; its unchanged strict count assertion passes in the repeat. Rapid prompt observation retains the existing bounded, best-effort behavior; a busy earlier supervisor can defer observation until a later prompt.
Public Homebrew installation, repeat, Formula test, reinstall, actual 0.0.35-to-0.0.41 upgrade, old-keg cleanup, Bash/Zsh/Fish startup/navigation/undo and state-preserving removal pass on all four native targets at tap dc8e1a7: three original native jobs and the Linux x86-64 repeat. The original Linux brew install stopped with Homebrew Broken pipe; its failure remains recorded and the exact Formula/assets are unchanged for the successful repeat. Native macOS ARM64 public latest/pinned downloads and an actual 0.0.38-to-0.0.41 downloader upgrade also pass with configuration and visits preserved.
J-Jump 0.0.38
J-Jump 0.0.38 adds Cloudflare Workers AI Clef-Flash as an optional semantic provider alongside official Jev. Local and offline navigation continue to work without API credentials.
- Choose the provider in
jjump setup; Cloudflare requires your own Account ID and API Token. - Fix pending credential drafts when switching providers and returning from setup.
- Validate invalid environment tokens/account overrides and explain how to recover.
- Improve English/Chinese setup, privacy consent, error messages and suggestion controls.

Four native targets passed source tests, exact installed-package tests and TLS downloader lifecycle tests across run 37461168018 and the Intel repair build: macOS 15+ ARM64/x86-64 and Linux static-musl ARM64/x86-64. Public archives, checksum sidecars and manifest were downloaded and checked against the accepted bundle. Archives are unsigned; verify SHA256 before installation.

brew install mreasonyang/taps/j-jump && jjump shell installOr use the latest download installer:
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mreasonyang/j-jump/main/install.sh | shOpen a new terminal after installation. The archive installer configures Bash, Zsh or Fish automatically; pass --no-shell to skip startup changes. The current Homebrew Formula matches the verified bundle. Native Homebrew 7.0.8 lifecycle acceptance passes on all four targets in independent prefixes: install, repeat, test, reinstall, real 0.0.35-to-0.0.38 upgrade, old-keg cleanup and uninstall. Bash/Zsh/Fish startup, offline history navigation and exact shell integration undo pass; configuration, visits and unrelated startup content are preserved. See release and platform details.

J-Jump 0.0.35
Automatic shell setup now connects Bash login sessions when a profile sources another file whose name contains .bashrc. Comments or messages that mention jjump init no longer suppress setup. Existing manual initialization and unrelated startup settings remain intact, and managed integration can be removed with jjump shell uninstall.
