1MB Locator HUD 1.55.0 — Snapshot Public Beta 5

Snapshot Public Beta 5 has passed the strict clean build, the separately built optional Paper bridge checks, and production-client startup tests both with and without Mod Menu. It remains a prerelease for broader player testing.

Highlights

• Adds default-off authenticated CMI walk/fly multiplier controls for 1×, 2.5×, and 5× on verified 1MoreBlock sessions. The controls remain absent and inert on every other server.
• Fixes observed movement speed so straight ascent and falling register as three-dimensional blocks per second.
• Hardens settings persistence with visible failure and recovery notices, bounded retry behavior, and retained unsaved changes.
• Makes client ticks the sole owner of HUD sampling and session transitions, with read-only render snapshots and focused long-run stress coverage.
• Adds the guarded, tag-bound release pipeline that rebuilds, smoke-tests, checksums, attests, byte-compares, and only then publishes the runtime JAR.

The optional Paper/CMI bridge is built and tested separately and is never bundled in the Fabric JAR. Please report beta feedback through the repository issue tracker, especially vertical speed display, settings persistence, authenticated CMI controls on 1MoreBlock, and confirmation that those controls remain absent elsewhere.
