Release Notes 0.4.0

  • Breaking: removed SVG support/dependency; .svg dropped from supported extensions and docs (imageconvert/imageconvert.py, pyproject.toml, README.md).
  • Batch conversion overhaul: streaming generator option, multi-process workers, progress callbacks, and smarter skip_existing that reprocesses newer sources while keeping directory structure (imageconvert/imageconvert.py).
  • PDF/image handling tweak: uses ImageReader buffer when writing PDFs to avoid ReportLab issues; docstrings/examples trimmed (imageconvert/imageconvert.py).
  • CI/CD: workflow now grants write perms and auto-creates GitHub releases for tags, uploading build artifacts (.github/workflows/workflow.yml).
  • Docs/versioning: README updated for streaming/parallel batch usage; version bumped to 0.4.0 in pyproject.toml and imageconvert/__init__.py.
