Added

  • traffic.Joined(t, u): says a second instruction to the same aircraft in the same call, with one readback covering both (ParamAlsoSaid, ParamAlsoReadback). traffic.WithVector is Joined with a radar vector (#707).
  • traffic.RequestTaxiIntersection: a crew asks for an intersection departure with its taxi request ("CSA1, request taxi, intersection B"). A departure waiting for taxi re-plans its route as soon as its entry changes (#621).
  • traffic.ResolveConflict can say "maintain (level)" to an aircraft that is level now but whose route climbs or descends (#697).

Fixed

  • A VFR circuit arrival sent around while still on its circuit waypoints (base, or final before the final-approach phase takes over) now goes over the runway and round again. ArrivalController.GoAround used to return nil and do nothing (live: OKIMV was sent around twice and landed anyway, #711).
  • Dog-leg absorption turns to the side away from the final (within 15 NM of it). It is stretched until the flown, rounded path adds the distance asked for, so the route shown matches what is flown (#706).

Airport map

  • One call instead of two in a row:
    • an arrival's sequence call carries a vector that is due ("number 3, reduce speed to 210 knots, fly heading 142");
    • a crew's request for direct, made before departure identified it, is answered in the identified call ("identified, climb to flight level 240, cleared direct to ARTUP", #707).
  • Departure clears an aircraft to its filed cruise level when that is below FL240.
  • VFR circuit arrivals:
    • get no sequencing instruction before their join call;
    • hear whom they follow when their downwind is extended ("number 2, follow the Boeing 737 on 4 mile final, extend downwind");
    • "make another circuit" is said on its own (#711).
  • Some crews ask for the intersection nearest them (15 %); ground gives it when the runway left is long enough for the type (#621).
  • No traffic information about traffic that is already moving away (#704).
  • Departures: "identified, climb to FL240" once only (#698).
