jiib ALPHA-26.7.3.1

First public alpha of jiib — a native Android touchscreen for Klipper 3D printers, talking directly to Moonraker. Install the APK, point it at your printer, drive a print. No Linux host, no VNC, no KlipperScreen glue.

Requirements

• Android 6.0+ (API 23)
• A Klipper printer running Moonraker, reachable on your local network
• Sideloading enabled ("install unknown apps") — this is not on any app store

Highlights

• Live print monitoring and control (pause/resume/cancel, e-stop everywhere)
• Movement, extrusion, temperatures with live graphs, fans/outputs, console, macros
• File browser with gcode thumbnails and print start
• Calibration suite: bed mesh (with 3D wireframe), screws tilt, Z tilt / QGL, probe tools incl. live Z-offset
• Spoolman integration with QR spool scanning
• Webcam view: H.264 (RTSP/MediaMTX) hardware-decoded, plus snapshot fallback
• Multi-printer profiles, mDNS discovery, full theming (dark/light/custom, font choice, text size)
• Portrait and landscape on phones and tablets — built to stay smooth on 2013-era hardware

Alpha caveats

• Expect rough edges; this is the first public cut. Issues welcome.
• Rotating while the H.264 webcam view is playing can blank the feed (re-enter the screen to recover).
• Releases are signed with the project key; future versions install straight over this one.
