Color theme overhaul

The accent color picker in Settings has been rebuilt from scratch. Instead of the old mismatched Tailwind swatches, we now have a tight set of 12 colors drawn from the Catppuccin and Nord palettes — 6 light/dark pairs shown in two columns side by side. Whites and dark slate monochrome options are still there.

App icons loading slowly on return to home — fixed

Every time you opened an app and came back, the icon cache got wiped and everything had to reload. Turned out the app was aggressively clearing Coil's memory cache whenever it went to the background, which is way too early. Now the cache is only cleared under genuine memory pressure, so icons are already in RAM when you swipe home.

Gesture navigation and Recents

A few things were broken when Cyclauncher wasn't set as the default launcher. Swiping up from the bottom could freeze. The app didn't show up in Recents. Pressing Back on the home screen did nothing. These have all been addressed — task affinity is back to normal, the translucent window hack is gone, and Back now properly minimizes the app.

Favorites drag-and-drop

Reordering favorites had a rubber-banding issue where items snapped back to their original position mid-drag. The core drag mechanic has been rewritten with proper item height tracking and offset compensation. It should feel natural now.

Other changes

  • Alphabet wheel scroll deceleration tightened up (6x curve)
  • Adaptive shadows now apply to the history icon on the main screen
  • Fixed data loss on reboot and Direct Boot scenarios
  • Gradle 9.6.1, AGP 9.3.1, Compose Compiler 2.2.10
