Agency Agents v0.3.2 — 2026-10-02

A correctness release: the agents the app installs are, once again, byte-for-byte what the catalog's own installer
writes, for every tool. The app's built-in renderers had drifted from the catalog since mid-August; some tools were
getting broken files.

Fixes

Qwen Code agents can read, write and run commands again. Agents installed for Qwen listed their tools with
Claude Code names (Read, Write, Bash). Qwen matches subagent tools by its own names, so those grants did
nothing: 17 agents could edit files but not read or create them, and had no shell. Tool names are now translated
(read_file, write_file, run_shell_command, …), matching the catalog.

Valid frontmatter for every agent. Descriptions containing : were written unquoted, which made the YAML
invalid for three agents (ZK Steward, Developer Tooling Engineer, AI Data Remediation Engineer) in Gemini CLI,
OpenCode, Cursor, Qwen, ZCode and the skill-based tools. They are now quoted.

Agent bodies keep their horizontal rules. Every --- line in an agent's body was dropped (137 agents
affected); only the frontmatter fences are removed now.

OpenCode colours. Quoted hex colours were rejected and fell back to grey; slate and navy are recognised.

ZCode installs where ZCode reads them. User-level ZCode agents were written to ~/.config/zcode/agents; ZCode
reads ~/.zcode/agents. Updating an existing ZCode install moves it to the right place.

Existing installs are offered the fix. Agents installed by an older version whose catalog source hasn't changed
now show as Outdated, so one Update rewrites them with the corrected output.

New

  • DeepSeek Harness joins the supported tools — agents install as Agent Skills.
  • Mistral Vibe is listed in the Tools view; installing into it is not supported yet.
  • The bundled starter catalog is current: 282 agents in 18 divisions (was 209), including the new Research
    division. Healthcare and Research now show their own icons.

Quality Gates

  • Renderer parity against the catalog's convert.sh at agency-agents d3f71c4: 282 agents × 9 tools,
    2,538 byte comparisons, all identical.
  • cargo test: all passing; npm run check: 0 errors.
  • Linux and Windows release builds green on the release commit.
