EMCP Tools 3.1.0 — EMCP Themer, Modules, Gutenberg tools
A big feature release: a builder-agnostic theme builder (EMCP Themer), a pluggable Modules framework (with Image Optimization), 10 always-on Gutenberg block tools, an in-editor AI Chat panel for the block editor, a dedicated plugin Dashboard, and in-dashboard updates for free users via GitHub releases.
Highlights
- EMCP Themer — design Header / Footer / Single / Archive / Search / 404 layouts with any page builder, attach display conditions, and the plugin injects them on the front end. Slot resolver, step-wise condition builder (with overlapping-template conflict warnings), per-theme header/footer adapters, and dynamic content elements for both Gutenberg and Elementor.
- EMCP Themer — PHP Templates (off by default) — an AI agent can author a fully custom, sandboxed, hash-verified PHP region template; you select it on a template to take over that region's render. Human selection is the execution gate (no attach tool); the strict validator blocks code-exec / file loading / network / file writes. Adds 5 disabled-by-default MCP tools.
- Gutenberg block tools (10, always-on) — a block-editor counterpart to the Elementor family.
- Modules framework + Image Optimization module (WebP on upload, bulk optimizer, reversible).
- AI Chat in the block editor (Pro); AI Chat is now a proper on/off module.
- Plugin Dashboard with stats, feature grid, video guides, and a version/update indicator.
- In-dashboard updates for free users via GitHub releases (auto-updates supported).
- Admin-bar MCP status node with a one-click exposure toggle.
Fixed
- Themer body templates now fill the theme's content column on flexbox-container themes (e.g. Astra's two-container layout).
Install/update: free users get this automatically via the in-dashboard updater. Or download emcp-tools-3.1.0.zip below.
