What's new

  • Battery status: see the mouse's battery percentage in Settings and the menu-bar dropdown, with updates after the mouse wakes.
  • Lower idle CPU use: remove background diagnostic polling when Settings is closed and avoid redundant menu and UI updates.
  • Progressive gestures on macOS 27: restore Space switching and upward Mission Control gestures that follow movement before release, including pauses and reversals. Correct direction handling for the system's natural-scrolling preference.
  • Connection reliability: fix MX Master discovery timeouts on macOS 27.

Compatibility and installation

Validated with an MX Master 4 connected through a Logi Bolt receiver on Apple silicon. Progressive gestures support macOS 26 and 27; unsupported newer macOS versions use keyboard-shortcut fallback. Accessibility permission is required.

Download and unzip MXMasterInput-0.1.4-macOS.zip, then move the app to Applications. Existing installations can use Check for Updates… in the menu-bar menu. The universal app is Developer ID signed and notarized, and the automatic-update feed is Sparkle signed.
