Downloads
- Windows 10/11 x64: download
SonicCD-0.0.1-windows-x64.zip, extract it and runSonicCD.cmd. The required Microsoft runtime DLLs are included. - Linux x86_64: download
SonicCD-0.0.1-linux-x86_64.AppImage, make it executable and run it. Requires glibc 2.39+ (Ubuntu 24.04 baseline), Python 3, and Zenity/KDialog for file selection; input paths can also be supplied from the terminal. If FUSE is unavailable, use--appimage-extract-and-run.
You must supply your own Sonic CD US disc and US Model 1 v1.10 Sega CD BIOS. No BIOS, disc, personal saves or machine-specific input paths are included. CUE/BIN conversion needs Python 3; an existing SGCD does not on Windows.

Press F1/Esc for settings. Normal window, normal audio and adaptive/Fit to screen are the defaults. Special stages retain their original centered projection.
Qualification includes 70/70 standard stage/time variants, 7/7 bosses, 8/8 special stages, original ending/credits, save/restart boundaries and independent visual comparisons. See the linked ledger for scope and unverified checks. CI source/package contracts and upstream synthetic checks pass. The reusable backend remains on its feature branch; no engine main/master merge.
Linux package validation passed a 2,791-frame source-qualified stage/control/widescreen/audio check with native floor counters 0/0 and zero audio faults. The final RGB capture matches the Windows frame exactly. Two actual AppImage launches passed with the clean Sonic CD window title, windowed defaults, volume100 settings and existing settings/backup RAM preserved. Automated speaker output was muted; emulated stereo audio was measured separately. The complete content matrix above was qualified on Windows and reused for the unchanged guest programs.
The release tag remains at d9bd7a3. Linux packaging uses the subsequent packaging-only fix b77ce83; both platforms use engine c8bcab94 and identical owned-generated program sources. Each package includes its source/dependency identities and component notices.
