Tomba! Recompiled v0.11.0-alpha makes authentic loading and strict selected-device controller routing the baseline.

Highlights

  • Direct .chd mounting with embedded track metadata and CD audio through integrity-pinned libchdr support.
  • A new Fast Loading mod, disabled by default. One bounded dropdown makes host-pacing modes (2x, 4x recommended, 8x, 16x, uncapped) mutually exclusive with experimental guest-visible CD timing (2x, 4x, bounded instant).
  • Turbo loads, disc acceleration, idle skipping, and the old warm-disc route are all off by default. Host acceleration stops immediately when the sustained load ends.
  • PSX_DEV_INPUT is now explicit opt-in, preventing unrelated devices or keyboard state from leaking into normal Hybrid controls.
  • Standards-compliant release ZIP paths, verified with zero backslash entries.

Implemented in Tomba PR #17 and PSXRecomp PR #100. The PR references #5, #10, #12, and #14; no comments were posted to those issue threads.

The package includes OpenBIOS and does not include Tomba disc data, a retail BIOS, or save data.
