The one exception are the *_menu_init functions
Column and Nested menus now store their menu items in an array instead of a DS List

Fixed bug with wrap
Fixed a bug where pressing right on the D-pad did not register as pressing any button on a gamepad
Callbacks are now passed to menu items by assigning the on_*_func keys in their configs the actual functions themselves rather than their names as strings.
Depending on how your callbacks were written, this could be a breaking change, as the new system may cause the scope of the callback to change.
Gamepad connection status tracking moved from Control Manager demo to the Control Manager itself.
Menu Item types has been renamed to type and changed from a DS List to a single string.
Added Valued Selectables menu items. These work like a regular Selectable, but also has a value field like a Spinner. However, unlike the Spinner, the user cannot change the value themselves, it must be done programmatically via the set_value function.
Added scroll arrows to Spinner menu to distinguish it from Valued Selectable items.
