• Supertonic, a third narration voice. Settings → Narration → Engine now
  offers Supertonic 3 beside Kokoro and Piper: a 122 MB download, ten voices,
  nearly as natural as Kokoro and several times lighter. On a laptop's
  processor it reads a chapter at a fifth to a third of real time with the
  whole app at 8% of the machine, where Kokoro needs half of real time and
  four times the processor; with GPU acceleration on, the graphics card takes
  it and the app drops to 2%. That margin is what should let a phone narrate
  with a natural voice. English for now.
