Capturo 0.15.1

Capturo 0.15.1 adds non-destructive connected-background transparency editing and refreshes the application branding with the final supplied transparent Capturo logo.

Highlights

  • Remove a connected background by sampling a pixel or entering a hex/RGB color.
  • Tune perceptual color tolerance and apply up to 10 px of edge feathering.
  • Compare Before, After, or draggable Split previews before applying the edit.
  • Undo transparency edits with the normal undo shortcut.
  • Copy or Save automatically applies a pending transparency preview and preserves alpha as PNG.
  • Use the same Capturo logo across the executable, installer, taskbar, tray, and notifications.
  • Prevent Electron's unused spellchecker from creating malformed cache folders beside the source tree.

Platform and signing

  • Tested and released for Windows x64 only.
  • This release publishes the interactive Windows installer. The portable executable remains a local validation artifact.
  • The installer is not Authenticode-signed, so Windows may display an unknown-publisher warning.
  • macOS remains untested, unsigned, un-notarized, unsupported, and is not published.
