Monitor Manager 0.2.0

This release adds tested compatibility safeguards for Windows Win+P projection changes.

Highlights

  • Detects Windows Duplicate mode and shows both physical targets as mirrored.
  • Prevents mirrored Current setup edits and profile capture because saved profiles use independent display sources.
  • Applies a saved profile from Duplicate mode by restoring Windows Extend first, then restoring exact profile settings.
  • Preserves last-known independent modes while a temporary mirrored mode is active.
  • Prioritizes stable physical monitor IDs when multiple targets share one Windows source.

Hardware validation

Validated on Windows 11 with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090, Alienware AW3225QF, and Gigabyte M28U. Duplicate, PC screen only, Second screen only, and Extend were exercised. The original resolution, refresh rate, position, rotation, scaling, primary role, and HDR state were restored after every test.
