BiBCode v0.6.0
Immutable
release. Only release title and notes can be modified.
BiBCode v0.6.0 adds a Pull Requests module: a project-scoped view, next to
the Git Manager, that lists pull requests and merge requests, opens them,
reviews, edits, merges and checks them out locally, on GitHub and on
self-hosted GitLab.
Pull Requests
- A Pull Requests button on each project header (after Git Manager) opens
the hosted repository for the selected checkout. The view detects whether it
can be used and explains what is missing: noorigin, an unsupported
provider (Azure DevOps, Bitbucket), a host that thegh/glabCLI does not
know (with the exactauth login --hostnamecommand), a missing CLI, or a
host that is not authenticated. Settings → Source Control → Pull
requests turns the module off and lists every configured GitHub and
GitLab host with its authentication state. - List with Open/Closed tabs (GitLab: Open, Merged, Closed, All), search,
author, assignee, reviewer, review-status, draft, label, milestone and
target-branch filters, sort, and explicit Load more. - Detail page in the shape of the GitHub pull request page: header with
state, branches and server-computed merge readiness; Conversation with
comments, reviews, threads, suggestions, reactions and system events;
Commits; Checks (GitLab: Pipelines); Files changed with lazy diffs,
Viewed state and an ignore-whitespace toggle. The selected tab lives in
the URL. - Reviewing: post, edit and delete comments; reactions; reply, resolve and
unresolve threads; inline comments from a diff line with Insert
suggestion; a pending review submitted as Comment, Approve or Request
changes against the head you reviewed; dismiss and re-request reviews;
GitLab approve, revoke, remove your change request and apply suggestions
with an optional commit message. - Editing: title, description and base branch; reviewers, assignees, labels
and milestone through searchable pickers with a five-second Undo;
lock (GitHub reasons) and unlock; convert to draft and mark ready; close
and reopen. - Merge box with the methods the repository allows, subject and body,
delete-branch and auto-merge options, and a confirmation that names the
method, target and options; bypass of branch requirements with its own
warning; update branch or rebase when behind; revert a merged request into
a new one; delete a merge request (GitLab). - Checkout for local verification into the current checkout, another
worktree or a New worktree…; blocked checkouts show the Git Manager's
reason; a started checkout always completes even if the window closes. - Every control that the host does not allow stays visible, disabled, with
the host's reason. Drafts (comments, replies, pending review, title,
description, merge message) survive navigation and reload. Actions on the
same request are serialized on the server; permissions are re-read before
each write; a changed head is reported instead of merged. - Verified end to end on GitHub and on a self-hosted GitLab 19.3 instance.
Along the way:glabJSON bodies now send an explicit content type, GitLab
inline notes with subclass ids parse, and repeated CLI probes are memoized
for thirty seconds so GitLab actions take about half the time.
Git Manager and Source Control
- Worktree toolbars no longer show Loading worktrees… after the list has
loaded. - Worktrees created from a pull request use the head branch name, or
<head>-pr-<n>when that branch is already checked out elsewhere.
Server
- A supervised process spawn retries briefly while the executable is still
busy being written, and fixture capture reads wait for content (test-only
robustness on hosted runners).
