Rewrote instructions at 0x477152 and 0x477153 with NOPs, as the global DAT address, responsible for controlling the if check on the Next Power of 2 code is zeroed out on versions of windows above XP.
This change significantly reduces the patch's impact as it no longer trampolines the d3d8.dll's CreateImageSurface call to add the next PO2 check, this should improve compatibility across different environments.
Installation
- Download the patch.asi file.
- Copy patch.asi into the root directory of your Europa 1400: Gold installation.
Important: This patch targets Europa1400Gold_TL.exe, Make sure you launch the game using this executable, it will not work with Europa1400Gold.exe.
