- External-canon grounding — CVE/CWE/RFC/DOI/URL references verified against public registries (MITRE, IETF, Crossref), no model in the loop.
- Two-part output: the recommendation, plus a plain-text trust rider (what to check, what was verified, what the challenge already fixed, how much to trust it).
- The definitiveness (correctness) gate reconciles with grounding so verified facts aren't double-flagged as assumptions.
- CLI with live stage progress, --version, doctor, and an optional MCP server (rapier mcp).
