Description

Add the official MiniCPM5-1B Q8_0 GGUF as a complete gallery entry and link it from the existing Q4_K_M entry. This lets variant selection choose the higher-quality build on hosts where it fits while preserving the smaller Q4 fallback.

The SHA256 matches both the Hugging Face LFS object ID and the x-linked-etag response header.

Verification

  • Parsed all 1,684 gallery entries with YAML merge-key support
  • Verified gallery names are unique
  • Verified every variant target exists and declares no nested variants
  • git diff --check
  • Confirmed Q4_K_M and Q8_0 SHA256 values against Hugging Face response headers

go test ./core/gallery could not run in the fresh worktree because generated gRPC sources are absent. make protogen-go could not download protoc through the environment proxy (HTTP 403); an older generated-source cache is incompatible with current master.

Notes for Reviewers

No runtime or documentation behavior changes; this only completes the existing MiniCPM5-1B gallery variants.

Signed commits

  • Yes, I signed my commits.
  • Documentation updated (docs/content/) for user-facing changes, or not applicable

The official GGUF repository publishes both Q4_K_M and Q8_0 builds, but the gallery only exposed Q4_K_M. Link the higher-quality Q8_0 build so capable hosts can select it automatically.
