Release list

v0.2.0

@muellerei muellerei released this 11 Oct 11:34
v0.2.0

Two settings for how long a finished list stays, and a fix for lists that Claude writes with work_state_write.

  • Settings. lingerSeconds (how long a finished list stays in the line) and joinSeconds (how long a new task of the same name still joins it), both in the /config menu. 0 never shows a finished list, or never joins one. A number outside 0 to 120 seconds is set to the nearest.
  • New default. A finished list stays 15 seconds now, and a new task joins it for 15 seconds, where both were 20. Set both to 20 to get the old behavior.
  • Fix. The calls of a work_state_write list are counted in the order they were issued, not in the order they answer. Before, a close that answered early could leave a finished 1/1 standing, two writes to one task could end on the older one, and a close could remove a task that a later call had added (#8).

The two settings were tried by hand in the /config menu. Not checked in Claude Code itself: that it starts the hooks of parallel calls in the order Claude issued them (the test kit does).

The README now opens with a banner and shows the release, the license and the last commit (#9).

Needs Claude Code 2.1.287 or later and a todo list that Claude keeps; the README has the details.

v0.1.0

First version: one line per task list above the Claude Code prompt, filled from the todo lists Claude already keeps. You do not operate it.

  • The current task, a bar that grows with finished tasks, the count and the percent.
  • Yellow needs you while Claude waits for your answer, red with the name of the check (npm test failed) when a test or build command fails, and the success color when the list is finished.
  • /task-line hides and shows the line, × hides one list.

It sees the tool calls Claude makes and nothing you type. It runs no commands, reads and writes no files and makes no network calls.

Needs Claude Code 2.1.287 or later and a todo list that Claude keeps. Newer models (for example Sonnet 5.5) leave the todo tools out, and without a list the line stays empty. The companion mod enable-todo-tools switches the tools on; the README has the details.

Tested with Claude Code 2.1.288 in the terminal. In the desktop app the line, the bar, the × button and the colors of a finished and a failed list were checked by hand; the yellow state above a question dialog was seen in the terminal only.
