Do more with photos, videos and documents in a chat: right-click for Save as…, Open with…, Copy image or Copy file, and Quick Look on the Mac; drag them out into a folder or another app on the Mac and Windows; save several at once from Select. Files now keep their own names, like invoice.pdf, instead of a code. The photo and video viewers have a Save button, and on phones Save puts photos and videos in your gallery.

Anchal 1.1.17

The Mac app now downloads from the site as a .dmg: open it and drag Anchal onto Applications. Installed copies keep updating themselves as before.

An agent can now send a file of up to 2 GB to a chat, such as a big zip, when the file is in your Downloads folder. Before, a file had to be small enough to go inside the agent's request.

A call on an account kept on the server can now move between your devices: the others show it with Move here, and the person you are talking to hears only a moment's quiet. The camera starts off on the device it moves to. A device opened during a call now sees it. With two accounts in calls at once, each call now hears only its own microphone.

New voice notes can be transcribed as they come in: Settings, AI, for chats with people or all chats, and each chat can say Always or Never. Calls can be recorded automatically too: Settings, Calls, with the same choice per chat, and the beeps follow Beep when recording. A chat started by phone number now stays one chat.

Calls can be recorded on WhatsApp and Telegram: Record on the call screen, two beeps tell the other side, and the recording plays in the chat. With a transcriber set up, each recording gets a transcript with exact speaker labels and a summary of what was agreed.
