I would like to propose a stronger and more formal approach to copyright protection for MTA server resources and scripts. Currently, it is relatively easy for server owners to take resources, scripts, or other server-side content created by developers and use them on their own servers without the original author's permission or proper credit. This can discourage developers from creating and publicly sharing high-quality resources for the MTA community. I believe MTA could introduce a clearer system for resource ownership and copyright enforcement. For example: Resource authors should be able to clearly declare ownership of their resources. This would not prevent developers from sharing or modifying resources when the license allows it. Instead, the goal would be to protect developers who spend significant time and effort creating resources and to make copyright rules clearer for server owners. A stronger copyright framework could encourage more developers to contribute high-quality resources to the MTA ecosystem while reducing unauthorized copying and redistribution. I believe this would be a valuable improvement for the MTA community and could help create a healthier environment for both server owners and resource developers. |

MTA is an old GTA modification for outdated game. So people do the code for myself. If we talk about community.mtasa.com it is the website need to rewrite fully. Only in this case developers can add new fields and so on. My personal opinion: All ideas by selling the software are dead today. People who publish their code are ready to any changes and using of their code. If you want to find more clients for your job it's better to publish code for advertizing yourself. Otherwise use luac.mtasa.com or don't publish your code. So, git gud. |

It sounds great on the surface, but as soon as you start thinking about this in more depth, it simply falls apart.
