Release list
1.0.0
First stable release of advisory heading guidance for TinyMCE editors.
Promotes the reviewed 0.1.5 functionality without runtime behavior changes. Plugin and asset versions are aligned to 1.0.0.
Validated with 11 browser tests, heading-rule tests, PHP template-contract and syntax checks, and Composer validation.
0.1.5
Hide heading warnings when focus moves to the TinyMCE toolbar or format menu. Preserve selection and Escape dismissal when returning to the content.
0.1.4
Let heading explanations grow to fit their text while staying within the viewport. Keep positioning aligned after wrapping or editor layout changes.
0.1.3
Use shorter, plain-language guidance for skipped heading levels, matching the heading labels in the editor menu.
0.1.2
Heading explanations now appear above the heading, with warning icons in the leading gutter. The TinyMCE content focus ring is removed while link focus indicators are preserved. Narrow popovers stay within the viewport.
0.1.1
fix: clear heading warnings when formatting changes to paragraphs
Remove temporary decorations copied by TinyMCE's FormatBlock command when
the resulting element is no longer a heading. Version editor assets to avoid
stale external-plugin loads after upgrades.
Add a regression test and staging acceptance coverage using disposable editor
fixtures, including saved content, selection boundaries and real ACF fields.
0.1.0
feat: add contextual heading guidance to TinyMCE editors
Introduce Municipio Editor Extensions with advisory heading checks for classic
content and dynamically created WYSIWYG fields. Resolve known heading context
from installed templates and live module settings, and limit unknown contexts
to internal level jumps.
Show accessible selection-aware explanations without changing saved markup,
focus, or undo history. Cover heading rules, Escape dismissal, selection
boundaries, dynamic fields, and editing round trips against TinyMCE 4.9.11.
