fiat imago 1.0

First release of fiat imago: develops RAWfish RAW files and ordinary JPEGs on Sailfish OS 5 (aarch64). Originals are never touched; every export is a new JPEG in Pictures/fiat imago.

Light, colour (with a colour mixer), crop and perspective, detail with a 100 % loupe, effects (vignette, toning, pattern, blur), ten built-in looks and your own, a highlight warning, RAW8/10/12/16, and photos on a memory card.

Good to know

• RAW16 from RAWfish is tested on real files. RAW8, RAW10 and RAW12 are tested only on synthetic files. If you have such a file, please send it via Issues.
• Reads RAWfish's raw files with their JSON, not DNG.
• Built and tested for aarch64 only.

New since 0.2

• Looks: ten built in (none, recover, warm, golden, cool, punchy, matte, mono, sepia, facet) with a strength from 0 to 150 %, and your own, saved from the pull-down menu
• Colour mixer: hue, saturation and lightness for eight colour bands
• Toning for shadows and highlights: sepia and duotone
• Pattern: the triangles Sailfish draws on its own backgrounds
• RAW colour from the transform the camera recorded for each shot, so RAWs now match RAWfish's own JPEG
• Photos on a memory card are found too
• A new icon

Good to know

• Temperature and tint are about twice as strong as in 0.2. Photos edited in 0.2 with these sliders will look stronger.
• RAW16 is tested on real files. RAW8, RAW10 and RAW12 are tested only on synthetic files. If you have such a file, please send it via Issues.

• Highlight warning: show blown highlights in red (preview only, never in the export)
• Perspective correction, vertical and horizontal
• Straighten now goes up to ±45°
• A 100 % loupe in the detail tool, so you can judge sharpness while you drag the sliders
• Reads RAW8, RAW10 and RAW12 as well as RAW16, and looks in Pictures/RAWfish
