Most meeting tools transcribe your calls and ship the audio to someone else's cloud. Murmur keeps the whole pipeline — recording, Whisper transcription, semantic memory, and the reasoning model itself — on your Mac. Ask it a question out loud while the meeting is still running and get a grounded answer with sources from months of past calls. Every note ends up as plain Markdown you own, Obsidian-ready.

It's grown past meetings, too: a standalone Notes workspace for writing and editing directly, with the same on-device brain as a selection assistant — and an opt-in, end-to-end-encrypted Shared Brain for teams who want to publish notes into an org-wide feed without ever trusting a server with plaintext.
