Release list
MuseLab Studio 0.1.0
First public release of MuseLab Studio — a complete music production studio for Windows, free to use.
Installing
The installer is four files. Download all of them into the same folder and run Setup.exe.
It finds the rest on its own — nothing to unzip or join.

It is this large because the AI models ship inside it. Once installed there is nothing further to
download and no account to create.
Windows may show a SmartScreen warning on first launch — the installer is not code-signed yet.

What's in it
- Arrangement — audio, MIDI and drum lanes, with folders that carry their own group fader
- Mixer — inserts, sends, real group buses, pan, automation and a master chain
- Piano roll — drawing, quantise, transpose, velocity, scale lock, chord tools
- Drum sequencer — per-step velocity, rolls, nudge, probability and conditional triggers
- Plugins — VST3 and LV2, hosted out of process so a bad plugin cannot take the app down
- AI, entirely on your machine — text-to-audio, stem separation, audio-to-MIDI, drum generation
in 31 genres, and a built-in assistant
Nothing is uploaded anywhere. No API key, no account, no cloud.
Try it without installing
Two demo projects and the audio they produced are attached:
MuseLab-Demo-Trap.zip— 144 BPM trap: drums, 808 bass and lead, melodic parts in a folderMuseLab-Demo-Stable-Audio.zip— 80 BPM, two AI-generated loops under a half-time kitMuseLab-Demo-Audio.zip— the rendered WAVs plus MIDI files you can drop into any DAW
Unzip a project folder into your MuseLab projects directory and open it.
Known limitations
- Windows only, 64-bit
- Not code-signed, so you will see a SmartScreen warning the first time
- This is a first release. It has been tested heavily and the packaged app checks its own
subsystems on every build, but it has not lived in other people's studios yet. Keep backups of
work that matters, as with any new tool.
