Windows: run the Setup file. It installs just for you — no
admin password — and adds Desktop Ducky to your Start menu and to
Settings → Apps, so you can remove it the normal way. The duck
then lives in the system tray by the clock; on Windows 11 new tray
icons start out tucked behind the ^ arrow, and he'll tell you
so the first time.
Mac: open the dmg and drag Desktop Ducky to Applications. The
Screen water modes ask for Screen Recording permission on first
run.
Windows, portable: prefer no installer? DesktopDucky-v1.3.4-win-x64.exe
is the same app as one standalone file you can run from anywhere.
(The -latest files are stable-named copies the app's built-in
updater uses — you don't need them.)
