BREAKING CHANGES

  • nauty now returns the canonical permutation as well as an AutomorphismGroup object, that holds the size of the automorphism group, as well as the orbits (see nauty manual for the format).
  • canonize! now only returns the canonical permutation, not the automorphism group size. If you want canonization and automorphism group information all at once, use nauty(g, canonize=true).

OTHER CHANGES

  • Graphs with loops are now supported. To remove the need to check for loops in every call to nauty, the digraph option in nauty is now set to true by default. According to the nauty manual, this may slightly decrease performance for undirected graphs with no loops. Overwrite the default options to disable the digraph option manually.
  • nauty can now be used with some of the available custom options of nauty. The NautyOptions constructor makes it possible to change a few of the options. Further changes are discouraged at this time, as invalid options may cause segmentation faults.
