A decentralized video platform where content creators can upload sensitive content without getting censored by Youtube.
A Youtube content creator who makes videos on the lives of war victims are getting their content removed from the platform because the video is too gruelling. However, this prevents the public from accessing the truth, reducing awareness of real issues happening around the globe.
- Two types of users: creators and viewers
- Creators: can upload videos onto the blockchain and check the viewer statistics. Authenticated by Ethereum contracts.
- Viewers: need to connect to Crypto wallet to buy access key to access a creator's videos.
- Firebase authentication to login to the website
Selected to the final pitching round, Top 10 (Honorable mention) out of 50+ teams.
This project was bootstrapped with Create React App.
In the project directory, you can run:
Runs the app in the development mode.
Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in your browser.
The page will reload when you make changes.
You may also see any lint errors in the console.
Launches the test runner in the interactive watch mode.

Builds the app for production to the build folder.
It correctly bundles React in production mode and optimizes the build for the best performance.
The build is minified and the filenames include the hashes.
