TimeEditArc v0.3.0-alpha Release

How to Use:

  1. Create and download credentials for Google Calendar API.
  2. Set up a virtual environment (venv) and install the necessary packages:
python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate  # On Windows, use: venv\Scripts\activate
pip install -r requirements.txt
  1. To run the program in interactive mode, simply execute python main.py. Follow the on-screen prompts to set up or load a configuration.
  2. For automation or direct configuration loading, use the command-line argument --config followed by the configuration name, e.g., python main.py --config <CONFIG_NAME>.

TimeEditArc v0.2.0-alpha Release

Features:

iCalendar Integration:

  • Fetches events from an iCalendar (.ics) URL.
  • Parses the iCalendar data to extract event details such as summary, start time, end time, location, description, and organizer.

Google Calendar Integration:

  • Uses the Google Calendar API to authenticate and interact with your Google Calendar.
  • Creates events in a specified Google Calendar based on the events fetched from the iCalendar URL.
  • Supports customization of event colors.

Configuration Management:

  • Allows users to set up and save multiple configurations.
  • Load and switch between different configurations.
  • Option to remove or rename saved profiles.

How to Use:

  1. Create and download credentials for Google Calendar API.
  2. Set up a virtual environment (venv) and install the necessary packages:
    python -m venv venv

    pip install -r requirements.txt

How to Use:

  1. Create and download credentials for Google Calendar API
  2. Set up a virtual environment (venv) and install the necessary packages:
    python -m venv venv
    source venv/bin/activate  # On Windows, use: venv\Scripts\activate
    pip install -r requirements.txt
  3. Set your iCalendar URL in the ical_url variable.
  4. Specify the target Google Calendar ID in the calendar_id variable.
  5. Run the main.py script.

The script will fetch events from the specified iCalendar URL, print the event details to the console, and create corresponding events in your Google Calendar.
