- Reading text from images now works offline: the English language data ships with the app.
- On Mac, if My Content Tools is opened from a disk image or the Downloads folder, it offers to move itself to Applications so it can update.
- Removed settings and buttons for automatic posting and fan replies, which are not available.
- Help Center: "Social Scheduling" now explains that nothing posts until you approve it.
My Content Tools 1.2.57

- "Brand Voice" is now called "My Voice" in the sidebar, matching its page.
- Help Center steps for My Voice and Content Maker now match the buttons in the app, and remind you to check every field the AI fills in.
1.2.56
My Content Tools 1.2.56
- Choose a starter pack for your kind of creator (YouTuber, TikTok, Gamer / Streamer, Podcaster, Musician, AI Filmmaker, Adult Creator or General) to pre-fill categories, hashtags and your brand voice. Existing settings are never overwritten.
- Train My AI and My Voice now shape every AI tool: descriptions, X posts, Content Studio and call sheets, and your words to avoid are respected.
- A one-time notice before using optional Grok tools, which run on xAI under your own account.
- Syncing no longer waits for record copying, which now runs in the background with a progress bar and time remaining.
- Neutral starter wording for new installs, and reliability fixes.
1.2.55
My Content Tools 1.2.55
- Signed releases, ID photos, signatures and consent videos synced from Model Release Pro are now copied to this computer and checked, with ID records kept in your encrypted ID Vault. See Settings → Record copies on this computer.
- Your edits to a performer's details in My Content Tools are no longer replaced the next time you press Sync.
- When a returning performer was entered as new on the phone, you can now attach their release to the existing performer.
- Studio Directory: booking contact details are shown to subscribers.
- Updated privacy wording, neutral example text, and reliability fixes, including the AI engine check.
1.2.54
My Content Tools 1.2.54
- New installs start with a neutral set of content categories you can rename or extend.
- Clearer wording in Settings and the help assistant.
- Reliability fixes.
1.2.53
My Content Tools 1.2.53
- Updated video tools. A new Open-source notices section in About lists the components included and where to download their source code.
- Ready for Model Release Pro 1.1: performers with passports and other non-U.S. IDs (issuing country), and clearer notes on releases signed under another state's law.
- Payment methods are now always chosen by you. Nothing defaults to Cash.
- My Content Tools is now signed by My Content Tools LLC.
- Reliability fixes.
1.2.52
My Content Tools 1.2.52
- On Apple silicon Macs, importing videos no longer needs Rosetta. The app now includes the Apple silicon version of the tool it uses to read video files.
- The Windows version stays at 1.2.51 in this release.
1.2.51
My Content Tools 1.2.51
- On Intel Macs, the app now includes the Intel versions of its image and video tools.
- On Windows, setup no longer shows a "cannot find" message at the end.
- A §2257 record now prints the Video / Photo descriptions section when the release has one.
- Windows is updated to 1.2.51 in this release, with the same changes.
1.2.50
My Content Tools 1.2.50
- Each §2257 record now shows the usage rights and AI consent the performer gave for that shoot. Where nothing was recorded for that shoot, the record says "not recorded". Nothing is shown as granted unless the performer said yes.
- You can now record an earlier release that was signed on paper or in another app. Use "Record an earlier release" on the Compliance page or in Records Check. The §2257 record for that shoot then prints the wording for an earlier release and the date it was signed.
- The acknowledgements on a §2257 record now print exactly as the performer ticked them.
- "Acknowledged at" on a record now shows the time of that shoot's own release.
- Windows is updated to 1.2.50 in this release, with the same changes.
1.2.49
My Content Tools 1.2.49
- Error messages are clearer. When something goes wrong, you see a plain sentence saying what happened and what to do next, not raw technical text.
- QuickBooks no longer creates the same bill twice.
- Each §2257 record now uses the signature, signing date and agreed payment from its own shoot's release. Before, a performer with more than one shoot could get the details from a different shoot's release.
- Before exporting a §2257 record, the app syncs with Model Release Pro first, so the export uses the latest releases.
- Files that were encrypted on the phone in Model Release Pro now open. If your studio is protected with a passphrase, the app asks for it once when a sync first needs it.
- ID Vault passphrases now need at least 12 characters. A passphrase set before this change still works, and the app shows an "Update your passphrase" prompt asking you to choose a longer one when you can.
- A §2257 record for an older shoot that has no Model Release Pro release for that shoot is now refused until a release is recorded for it.
- Times on compliance PDFs now print in UTC, for example 2026-08-09 23:30:15 UTC.
- The Windows version stays at 1.2.47 in this release.
