  • Prevents pdf2zh 1.x from treating italic prose and bold headings as formula placeholders.
  • Adds a fail-closed assembled-PDF audit for leakage, kana, semantic corruption, untranslated headings, acknowledgements, and figure captions.
  • Repairs numbered captions absorbed into figure regions and preserves rotated outer-margin labels.
  • Removes stale or untransformed link annotations from mono, dual, and side-by-side layouts.
  • Tightens author/affiliation detection so funding acknowledgements are translated.
